ZITex is a group of Slovenian export-oriented companies, all of which are already present on foreign markets both in the region and beyond. Equally importantly, their innovative approaches and their keeping abreast of latest developments in the world of IT guarantee a fruitful and effective partnership.

ZITex is a section of the Association for IT and Telecommunications – ZIT (part of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry). ZIT works towards establishing partnerships and cooperation with governmental institutions with the aim of creating a stimulating environment for IT companies in Slovenia. It promotes international networking, creation of business opportunities in Slovenia and export of Slovenian IT products and services.

Information technologies and communications are the vehicles of business success. With ZITex we want to increase export of our members for 100 % in the next 5 years, unify companies which are competitors on domestic market and position them as a driving force of the national export growth. Special attention is dedicated  to SME and their efforts to penetrate on foreign markets, especially to South-Eastern and Central Europe, Russia and the Middle East. ZITex will become a key instrument for improving competitiveness and globalization of Slovenian ICT industry. In cooperation with the government we will create better business environment for  the export of Slovenian ICT products and services. Our main goal is to increase high-tech export from 6 to 15 % of GDP.
