The ICT association of Slovenia (ZIT) is one of the industry associations, part of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. It represents the ICT industry of Slovenia within the country of Slovenia as well as abroad and is the main stakeholder in the field of digitalisation in Slovenia. The activities of ICT association are focused to 4 main areas:

Promotion and support of digitalisation and ICT Association members in Slovenia

Codevelopment of digitalisation Ecosystem in Slovenia, partnering with key ministries and other stakeholders in Slovenia and abroad

Initiatives and working groups for improving the business environment of ICT industry and supporting its export activities

Other direct services for members like education, conferences, information on tenders and opportunities etc.
ICT Association of Slovenia is leading also the digitalisation cluster of Smart Society Specialisation Strategy called the ICT Innovation network, being also a part of Smart Cities partnesrhip. We are also a member of DigitalEurope and Slovenian Digital Coalition . Together with strategic partners, we have founded the Digital Innovation Hub Slovenia and the initiative AI for Slovenia.
What of the important activities of the association is supporting ICT members for its internationalisation and export activitities. For that purpose, we have a section called Zitex.
